Luggage, comfort, and how long you’ll be in the vehicle can also make a difference.
Think about how long you’ll actually be in the vehicle. Miraflores can be 45–90 minutes from Lima Airport, depending on traffic, while Paracas or Huacachina is a 4+ hour trip. A vehicle that feels comfortable for a short ride can feel very different after several hours.

What to consider before booking this van
Not all luggage weighs the same. Eight normally packed suitcases are very different from eight very heavy suitcases, like when someone takes everything but the kitchen sink with them.
The same is true for passengers. Four adults and three children can be very different, weight-wise, from six or seven full-grown adults.
The number of passengers and bags tells you how much space you need, but the total weight matters too. The compact minivan has a lower weight capacity than our larger vans, so keep both space and weight in mind when choosing your vehicle.
If you’re traveling with heavy luggage, oversized bags, bicycles, surfboards, or other large items, take that into account when deciding which vehicle is right for you.

We provide private transportation to or from Jorge Chávez International Airport and destinations throughout Lima, including Miraflores, San Isidro and Barranco.
Our drivers speak Spanish and know Lima and the airport routes. Our English-speaking dispatch team is available if you need help during your trip.
Pickup Information
10 minutes of wait time is included at your Lima pickup location.
If you need additional time, it can be arranged at $20 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments.
Keep your phone available around your scheduled pickup time. WhatsApp is the fastest way for us to contact you, and the WhatsApp details are provided with your booking confirmation.
For city pickups in Lima, if we cannot reach you within 10 minutes of your scheduled pickup time, the ride may be marked as a No Show under our Terms & Conditions.
If a mechanical problem prevents the vehicle from completing your trip, Gringo Taxis will arrange a replacement vehicle as quickly as possible.
