Luggage capacity depends on the vehicle you choose.
Our SUV / MPV can carry up to 5 large suitcases plus a few carry-on bags. Our vans provide additional space for larger groups and bulky travel equipment, including surfboards and bicycles in boxes, with capacity for up to 8 large suitcases.

How It All Works
Step 1: Book Your Transfer
Order online at gringotaxis.com Choose your route, travel date, pickup time, vehicle, and the other important details requested during the booking process.
Select the vehicle that best fits your group and luggage needs. Your reservation is made for the vehicle you choose, rather than simply being assigned a vehicle when you arrive.
Step 2: Arrive in Lima
Fly into Jorge Chávez International Airport, clear immigration and customs, and collect your luggage.
Your confirmation email will tell you where to meet your driver at the designated airport meeting location.
Step 3: Meet Your Driver
Proceed to the designated meeting location. Your driver will be waiting for you there with your reservation information.
Step 4: Your Driver Escorts You to the Vehicle
Your driver will escort you to the waiting vehicle in the airport parking lot and assist with loading your luggage.
Before departing the airport, the required parking fee will be paid, and your transfer will continue directly to your destination.
If you have difficulty locating your driver, your confirmation email includes an emergency contact number for help. You will not be left alone or without help
What Happens If Your Flight Is Delayed?
Standard flight tracking is included with every airport transfer. Once a driver has been assigned to your reservation, the driver uses your flight information to help coordinate the pickup timing.
For travelers who want an additional level of monitoring, we also offer active flight tracking through our dispatch team. With this service, dispatch actively monitors your flight and coordinates with the assigned driver regarding changes to the expected arrival time.
These are two different levels of flight tracking, allowing you to choose the level of monitoring that best fits your needs.

Locations and Service Areas
Our Services are priced on a per vehicle rate and not a on a per person rate.
Yes but that is going to be between you and your driver. Typically our drivers charge an additional $3 per stop within the same district. Outside of the same district the cost can be substaintualy more. Please confirm with your driver before assuming extra stops are ok. Keep in mind the driver may have another trip already booked and unable to help even if they wanted to.
We do short notice pickups which ar classified as less than 6 hours for us. That said those are strictly via Whatsapp and cannot be ordered through our website and, come with an additional cost of $5 per incident.
Our website can take orders 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If you are trying to order with less than 6 hours please read the Short Notice Pickups question above for more details.
Our base rate from the Lima airport to Mraflores is $26.99 USD. Time of day and holidays can change the rate due to things like rush hour traffic or major holidays when driver availability is extremely limited
We accept all credit and debit cards via either of our payment processors either the credit and debit card processor or our Paypal processor. Either is fine and whichever best fits your needs. Cash is not accepted for Airport transfers.

Yes, but the majority of our transportation services are within Lima and to destinations south of Lima.
Private trips to destinations such as Caral and Chancay may be available by request and are arranged through WhatsApp based on availability and the time of year.
During the rainy season, we do not offer these trips. Road conditions can become hazardous due to the increased risk of rockslides, mudslides, and local flooding. Safety conditions can vary significantly by season, so these trips are offered only when we consider the road conditions suitable for travel.

International passengers will meet their driver at EXIT 3 in the main arrivals hall.
Domestic passengers will meet their driver at EXIT 1 in the man arrivals hall
We allow one free change to your arrival date or pickup time when the change is requested in advance.
We also monitor flight information and make adjustments in real time when needed to help coordinate your pickup with your actual arrival time.
Yes. We have a limited number of child car seats available for our airport transfers. Because availability is limited, please request a car seat when making your reservation so we can confirm whether one is available for your trip.
If a car seat is not available, we will let you know before your trip rather than leaving you to find out at the airport.
Most airlines allow no more than 2 checked bags per person which inherently reduces how many you can bring. On average our clients are able to fit up to 8 large suitcase in our vans and 5 large suitcases in our SUV/MPV and 3 suitcase in our sedans.
While group size is important there is another aspect to think about, which is how much luggage will the group actually have. Before deciding what vehicle you need we advise checking how many suitcases you will have a s a group. Generally speaking 4 passengers can fit ina sedan but the luggage can become an issue very fast. For 4 persons we recommed at least an SUV or MPV. 5 or more person will require a van.
