How much is the Lima airport shuttle?
The official Airport Express Lima shuttle is one of the cheapest ways to travel between Lima Airport and Miraflores. Its standard fare is generally 20 soles per person one way, which is roughly 5 to 6 U.S. dollars depending on the exchange rate. If two or more people travel together with boarding passes for the same flight, the price can drop to about 15 soles per person. Children under two usually ride free. You can buy tickets online in advance or at the counter outside the arrivals area, and the service runs between the airport and several central stops in Miraflores, including areas near Larcomar, Avenida Larco, Kennedy Park, and Hotel Boulevard. The shuttle is a shared bus, so it may take longer than a taxi because it makes scheduled stops and depends on Lima traffic. For travelers staying in Miraflores, it is often an excellent value because the fare is fixed, there is no haggling, and the route is designed for visitors who don’t mind walking or arranging a taxi anyways if your hotel is outside the designated stops. Check the official schedule and current fare before you travel, since prices and timetables can change. If you are arriving after 10 PM or 6AM this is not a likely option for you.
