You’re traveling with a larger group, and having everyone together in one vehicle is important. But when you’re traveling with several people, luggage and other equipment, available space isn’t the only thing to consider.

A full-size van gives you more room and a higher weight capacity than our compact minivan. This can be useful when your group is traveling with heavier luggage, oversized bags, bicycles, surfboards, or other bulky equipment.

Think about how long you’ll actually be in the vehicle, too. Miraflores can be 45–90 minutes from the Lima Airport, depending on traffic, while Paracas or Huacachina is a 4+ hour trip.

What to consider before booking this van

Not all luggage weighs the same. Eight normally packed suitcases are very different from eight very heavy suitcases, like when someone takes everything but the kitchen sink with them.

The same is true for passengers. Four adults and three children can be very different, weight-wise, from six or seven full-grown adults.

The number of passengers and bags tells you how much space you need, but the total weight matters too. The full-size van has a higher weight capacity than our compact minivan, giving you more capacity for heavier loads.

If you’re traveling with heavy luggage, oversized bags, bicycles, surfboards, sporting equipment, or other large items, take that into account when deciding which vehicle is right for you.
